Driver Training for L Plate Drivers

Two-day Course, Non-accredited

This course is designed to optimise a young driver's awareness of vehicle dynamics and is structured over 2 days. This program centres around the importance of vision, dynamic feel and preparing participants' awareness for any potential situation that may arise. The Learner Driver Awareness Course focuses on all young drivers regardless of their ability, who currently hold a Learner's Licence. It is recommended that Learners have a minimum of 30 hours of driving experience before they attend the course.

Day One

Introduction (classroom)
Vehicle familiarisation
Car control skills (theory and practical)
Emergency braking (theory and practical)
Curve braking (theory and practical)
Defensive presentation (classroom)

Day Two

Curved wet braking (Demonstration)
On/off-road drive (practical)
Discussion feedback (classroom)

Important Details

  • Bookings are essential
  • Course starts at 8:30am (please arrive by 8:15am / finishes 4:00pm)
  • Chilled drinking water and tea and coffee available
  • All Roadcraft courses have a Lay-By system
  • Course must be paid for in full before course can be attended
  • EFTPOS and Credit Card facilities available
